KE 3492

Product Information

One component room temperature cure
Conductive
Low Odour
Low Volatility

Shin-Etsu KE3492 is a non-corrosive, thermally conductive, adhesive/sealant developed for motor, electric contact, consumer electronics, transportation, and aerospace applications. In addition, rigorous processing of the base polymer in KE 3493 ensures minimal volatilisation of low molecular weight silicone constituents after cure and subsequent exposure to high temperatures.

KE 3492 RTV Thermally conductive adhesive /sealant is a thixotropic material, that is ideal for many applications where thermal conductivity is required between two components.

KE 3492 RTV adhesive/sealant is white in colour and cures to a tough, flexible silicone elastomer upon exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. This material will exhibit excellent adhesion to many sub straights including glass, wood, ceramics, clean metals, other silicone elastomers, and plastics like ABS, polycarbonate, and PVC.
