Shin-Etsu KE347 RTV silicone is an excellent general purpose, non-corrosive adhesive/sealant developed for applications in consumer electronics, transportation and aerospace. Utilising a patented crosslinking system KE347 offers a fast curing alternative to other electronic grade silicone RTVs. In electronic applications it is an excellent conformal coating. Shin-Etsu KE347 is a medium viscosity flowable liquid ideal for flow coating applications. A lower viscosity version of it is available. It is available in translucent or white and cures to a tough, flexible silicone elastomer upon exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. It will exhibit excellent adhesion to many substrates, including glass, wood, ceramics, clean metals, other silicone elastomers, and plastics like ABS, polycarbonate and PVC.
KE347 is ideal for electronic applications because of its non-corrosive crosslinking system. Acetone is liberated during the cure of this product as as such will not harm sensitive components or lead paths.
